This tutorial will teach you how to download fonts for windows XP or lower. When dowloading to Vista it is different, PM me if you are running Vista and I will walk you through it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. Okay no to begin go to
www.dafont.com and find a font you like.
2. Right of the font you should see a place to click that says "Download for Windows" Click that.
3. It will begin to download, save it where you know you will be able to get to it easily. I normally save it to my Desktop.
4. Right click the file once it is done downloading and click "Extract All". It should begin extracting the file. Extract it to your desktop.
5. Once it is done extracting open the file.
6. Minimize that window and open "My Computer".
7. Once it opens click the file that says "Local Disk (C: )"
8. Once that opens double click the "WINDOWS" folder.
9. Finally open the folder that says "Fonts".
10. Maximize the window that holds your downloaded font.
11. Click and drag the new font and place it in your "Fonts" folder.
12. Open Word, Gimp, Photoshop, Note Pad, or any other program that uses text, and enjoy your freshly downloaded text.
